How It Works
From Breakdown to Back in Production
A transparent, structured repair process so you always know exactly where your equipment stands — from the moment you contact us to the day it ships back.
No Guesswork. No Surprises.
Every repair at Eindotech Autovolt follows the same disciplined eight-step process. We document every fault found, quote before we touch anything, and test under full load before dispatch. You get a clear repair report with every job — not just a fixed unit.
Step 01
Send Your Enquiry
Tell us what you have and what's wrong.
Contact us by phone, WhatsApp, or the enquiry form on our website. Share the equipment type, brand, model number, fault code or error message, and any photos or videos of the fault. The more detail you provide, the faster we can give you an initial assessment. We respond to all enquiries promptly — typically within a few hours on working days.
- Include the full model number from the nameplate
- Note any fault codes or LED indicators shown
- Photos of the unit and any visible damage are helpful
- Describe when the fault occurred and what the machine was doing
Step 02
Ship or Drop Off the Equipment
Send the unit to our Ahmedabad workshop.
Pack the equipment securely — ideally in its original packaging or with adequate foam padding — and ship it to our workshop in Ahmedabad. We accept courier, freight, and hand delivery. For large or heavy equipment, we can advise on suitable logistics partners. Include a note with your name, contact number, and a brief description of the fault so our team can match it to your enquiry on arrival.
- Use foam padding or bubble wrap around all sides
- Remove any loose cables or accessories before packing
- Include a printed note with your name and contact number
- Inform us once the shipment is dispatched so we can track it
Step 03
Incoming Inspection & Logging
We receive, log, and inspect the unit.
On arrival, your equipment is logged into our system with a unique job reference number. Our engineers carry out a visual and physical inspection to assess the overall condition of the unit, note any physical damage, and confirm the reported fault. You will receive a confirmation that we have received your equipment along with your job reference number.
- You will receive a job reference number by phone or WhatsApp
- Keep this reference for all follow-up queries
- Incoming condition is photographed and documented
Step 04
Fault Diagnosis
Root cause identified at component level.
Our engineers carry out a thorough fault diagnosis at component level. We do not simply replace boards or modules — we trace the fault to its root cause, whether that is a failed IGBT, a damaged capacitor, a burnt trace, a corrupted firmware module, or a failed power stage. All fault points are documented in detail. For complex faults, this stage may take longer, but we will keep you informed of progress.
- Diagnosis is carried out at component level, not module swap
- We identify root cause, not just the failed component
- All findings are documented with photographs where relevant
Step 05
Repair Quotation
Clear, itemised quote before any work begins.
Once diagnosis is complete, we prepare a clear, itemised repair quotation. This covers the cost of components, labour, and testing. We explain what was found, what needs to be replaced or repaired, and why. There are no hidden charges. If the repair is not economically viable — for example if the cost approaches the price of a new unit — we will tell you honestly and return the unit with a full diagnostic report.
- Quotation is provided before any repair work begins
- Itemised breakdown of parts and labour
- If repair is not viable, we advise you honestly
Step 06
Your Approval
We proceed only after you confirm.
We do not begin any repair work until you have reviewed and approved the quotation. Once you confirm, we proceed immediately. If you decide not to proceed with the repair, we will return the unit to you with a written diagnostic report — so you have a clear record of what was found, which may be useful for insurance, procurement, or future reference.
- No work begins without your explicit approval
- Approval can be given by phone, WhatsApp, or email
- If you decline, the unit is returned with a written diagnostic report
Step 07
Repair & Component Replacement
Component-level repair using quality parts.
With your approval confirmed, our engineers carry out the repair. The unit is cleaned, faulty components are replaced with quality equivalents, PCB traces are restored where needed, and connectors or terminals are inspected and refurbished. We use quality replacement components sourced from reputable suppliers. All work is carried out by experienced engineers with deep knowledge of industrial electronics.
- Quality replacement components from reputable suppliers
- PCB traces, connectors, and terminals inspected and restored
- Unit is cleaned before reassembly
Step 08
Full Load Testing
Tested under real operating conditions on our rig.
Every repaired unit is tested under full load conditions on our test rig before it leaves the workshop. This is not a simple power-on check — we simulate real operating conditions to verify that the repair holds under load. For drives, this means running at rated current and voltage. For PLCs and HMIs, this means functional I/O and communication testing. Only units that pass full load testing are cleared for dispatch.
- Full load rig testing — not just a bench power-on check
- Drives tested at rated current and voltage
- PLCs and HMIs tested for I/O and communication function
Step 09
Quality Sign-Off & Repair Report
Final check and written repair documentation.
After passing full load testing, the unit goes through a final quality sign-off. A written repair report is prepared documenting the fault found, the components replaced, the tests carried out, and the results. This report is included with the unit when it is returned to you. It serves as a useful record for your maintenance logs and supports the one-year repair warranty.
- Written repair report included with every job
- Documents fault found, parts replaced, and test results
- Supports your maintenance records and warranty claim
Step 10
Dispatch & Post-Repair Support
Carefully packed and shipped back to you.
The repaired unit is carefully packed and dispatched to your location. We share tracking details once the shipment is on its way. Our team remains available after delivery for any technical queries — if you have questions during reinstallation or commissioning, call or WhatsApp us. All repairs carry a one-year warranty, so if the same fault recurs within that period, we will address it at no additional charge.
- Tracking details shared on dispatch
- Team available for post-repair technical queries
- One-year warranty on all completed repairs
Typical Turnaround Times
Turnaround depends on fault complexity, parts availability, and current workshop load. These are typical ranges — we will give you a specific estimate at the quotation stage.
Emergency breakdown jobs can often be prioritised — contact us to discuss your situation.
One-Year Repair Warranty
Every repair completed by Eindotech Autovolt carries a one-year warranty. If the same fault recurs within twelve months of the repair date, we will diagnose and repair it again at no additional charge. This warranty covers the specific fault repaired — it does not cover new faults caused by external factors such as power surges, incorrect installation, or physical damage after return.
- 12 months from the date of dispatch
- Covers the specific fault repaired
- Supported by the written repair report
- No additional charge for warranty repairs
